Job Description:

We are looking for a business-oriented manager of our Lerang Research Station in Forsand municipality. In this team you will work together with enthusiastic researchers, research technicians and project coordinators. As a Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure that resources are put in the right place and are developed further.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for managing the research station

• Personnel responsibility and follow-up of economy

• Quality Assurance and HSE responsibility

• Responsibility for driving the development of the station

• Close co-operation with the researchers in Skretting ARC

• Collaboration with international research stations of Skretting ARC

• Involvement in projects and trial planning

• Involvement in project cooperation with national and international research

Required competence and qualifications:

• Higher education within aquaculture

• Technical understanding, but also practical skills

• Leadership ability and proven managerial record

• Good skills to interact and communicate with people

• Ability to work in a busy environment where priorities have to be made continuously 

• Fluency in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
