Skretting Aquaculture Research Centre (ARC) is the global research organisation for Skretting. The research centre is based in Stavanger, Norway, and has further research units in Australia, China, Chile, Ecuador, Egypt, Italy, Japan, and Zambia.
Skretting ARC employs an international team of over 120 highly skilled specialists, supported by a substantial annual investment in advanced R&D. Job Description:
We are looking for a business-oriented manager of our Lerang Research Station in Forsand municipality. In this team you will work together with enthusiastic researchers, research technicians and project coordinators. As a Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure that resources are put in the right place and are developed further.
Main Responsibilities:

Responsibility for managing the research station
-
Personnel responsibility and follow-up of economy
-
Quality Assurance and HSE responsibility
-
Responsibility for driving the development of the station
-
Close co-operation with the researchers in Skretting ARC
-
Collaboration with international research stations of Skretting ARC
-
Involvement in projects and trial planning
-
Involvement in project cooperation with national and international research
Required competence and qualifications:
-
Higher education within aquaculture
-
Technical understanding, but also practical skills
-
Leadership ability and proven managerial record
-
Good skills to interact and communicate with people
-
Ability to work in a busy environment where priorities have to be made continuously
-
Fluency in Norwegian and English, both orally and in writing
